During your ROTC classes and training in the field, you will discover what it takes to lead others, and learn how to motivate groups, conduct missions, and upon graduation from ROTC you will earn the rank of a Second Lieutenant. You can avoid the difficulty of most college student having to work their way through college, or borrow through loans and then have to make payments for the next 20 years. ROTC can be finished in just about two years, upon graduation you will be commissioned a Second Lieutenant and be making an equivalent civilian pay of about $65,000 during your first four years of service.  There are three different types of ROTC scholarships to choose from; four year, three year and two year scholarships.
